Muncy™ Ball Shanks
Muncy’s Ball Shanks are made from a grade of carbon steel specially for swaging. Our steel is also domestic, Made in USA. Our ball shank terminations are swaged on the shank, not on the ball, making it easier to swage and unnecessary for a special pocket die.

CAUTION
Swaged Shank Ball Shanks are recommended for use on 6x19 or 6x37 IPS or XIP, EIP, RRL, or IWRC wire ropes. Swaged Shank Ball Shanks are not rated for direct lifting. Before using a Swaged Shank Ball Shanks with any other type, lay, construction or grade of wire rope, it is recommended that the termination be tested to prove adequacy of the assembly in the intended application. Proper swaging practices are the assembly manufacturer’s responsibility.
