The NEWCO BALE HOOK is designed to allow full throat opening and keep the hook from catching on projections or ledges. The yoke or gate is made of Manganese bronze alloy (110,000 PSI), and helps prevent hook from speading when under load. The eye hook is standard drop forged alloy steel. To be opened, the hook must be manually compressed against the compression spring. The eye hooks are drop forged and heat treated, and matched to the size of the bale yoke.
