Muncy's DIN style thimbles
Muncy manufactures its DIN style thimbles for terminating class 1, high performance crane ropes in a manner protecting the rope. The solid rope thimble has a hole that can be bored to fit your custom or standard pin. These ropes are often terminated with aluminum sleeves where the rope end is "loop back" or is a turnback to form an eye. These thimbles provide a good end termination.
