Stainless Steel TTS/STS Studs
Muncy™ Stainless Threaded Studs: TTS and STS StyleMuncy manufactures threaded studs to terminate wire rope in 304 stainless steel. These studs use special steel with properties that can handle the extreme forces in the swaging process and the load in the field when properly swaged. All these dimensions come standard in UNC right hand coarse thread.
Stainless Steel Rusting
Don't forget to wipe the socket shank down or even brush it with a stainless steel brush or pad after swaging, as the contact of the carbon steel alloy die may be enough to allow a light layer of rust over time on the shank. Most do not have stainless dies, so the carbon steel die can create an issue that is easily resolved.
Special Stainless Threaded Studs for left hand, acme, metric fine threads or other special dimensions
The below dimensions are for our standard studs. We can make to your needed dimensions, whether you need different thread pitch or diameter, fine, left hand, metric or acme threads. We can supply any size heavy hex nut rated for a load, washers, jam nuts, special nuts to go on the studs. We can make for larger or smaller sizes to your specs.
