Muncy™ NB Buttons
Muncy NB Button AdvantageNB Buttons are similar wire rope terminations to Muncy’s BB, SB and CB. A major differences of the SB Button and the NB Button is that a few of the less common sizes (7/32”, 5/16”) have the same after swage outside diameter as similar-sized common sizes (so you don’t need as many dies) and a few difference in some buttons’ over-all lengths.
Muncy Buttons Stops = Made In America
Muncy uses domestic steel from domestic steel mills for its button stops. Better steel means better and more consistent steel properties for swaging. We manufacture these steel ferrules in our facilities in the USA.
All Muncy Machine and Tool™ fittings are machined from carbon steel specially selected for swaging. Aluminum and stainless steel available upon request.

CAUTION
NB Buttons are recommended for use on 6x19 or 6x37 IPS or XIP, EIP, XXIP, EEIP, RRL IWRC wire rope. Before using NB Buttons with any other type lay, construction, or grade of wire rope, it is recommended that the termination be tested to prove the adequacy of the assembly in the intended application. Proper swaging practices are the assembly manufacturer’s responsibility.
