Sea-Fit Mooring Sockets
Muncy™ Sea-Fit™ Mooring Sockets are designed to both high strength wire rope and chain specifications. in semi-submersible drilling platforms for off-shore drilling, our sockets are where the wire rope and chain meet.
Similar to spelter sockets, our mooring sockets are designed for resin or zinc where the sockets exceed the strength of the wire rope. Similar to chain, our sockets are designed to properly articulate with the chain connecting fitting.
Our sockets are also used in the towing industry due to both its smooth design that does not catch the deck, and its strength.
