Material is everything for steel Button Stops
Muncy's EB buttons are made from special material made for swaging. The material has to withstand the extreme forces during the swaging process onto the wire rope. Once on the rope, the button needs to perform, often in winch applications.

Muncy uses material for its products that are Made In the USA. The material is traceable to the steel mill and then manufactured in Muncy's facilities. In these modern days, both accountability and consistency is important.

CAUTION
EB Buttons are recommended for use on 6x19 or 6x37 IPS or XIP, EIP, RRL, or IWRC wire ropes. Not all EB Buttons are designed to hold the breaking strength of the wire rope. Before using a EB Button for any type lay, construction or grade of wire rope, it is recommended that the termination be tested to prove adequacy of the assembly in the intended application. Proper swaging practices are the assembly manufacturer’s responsibility.
