- Muncy stainless steel spelter sockets are compatible with zinc or resin. Follow rope, strand, and/or resin manufacturer assembly recommendations when using Muncy stainless steel spelter sockets with synthetic rope, stainless steel wire rope or strand.

CAUTION
Stainless Spelter sockets are recommended for use on 6x7, 6x19, and 6x37, IPS, XIP (EIP), RRL, FC, or IWRC wire ropes. Before using stainless steel spelter sockets with other type, lay, construction, or grade of wire rope, it is recommended that the termination be tested to prove the adequacy of the assembly in the intended application. Do not use Resin socketing media with stainless steel spelter sockets. Assembly by Zinc pouring should always be performed by trained and competent personnel only. Proper swaging practices are the assembly manufacturer’s responsibility.
